It includes forged steel conrods, a billet crank, and motorsport-grade fuel and ignition systems. Weighing just 85 kg, it revs up to 10,000 rpm and delivers 296 bhp. Complemented by a five-speed dogleg gearbox and a custom titanium exhaust.

- Standard 1.8-litre Engine: Provides 182 bhp with fuel injection and a dry sump, capable of reaching 9,000 rpm. Paired with a four-speed manual 'straight-cut' gearbox. Both setups power the rear wheels.

Boreham has enhanced this Mk1 RS using original Ford blueprints combined with state-of-the-art laser scanning to ensure precise rebuilds. The result is a vehicle stronger and more agile than its predecessor.
