Kia has introduced sharper triangular headlights, complete with LED daytime running lights and updated taillight graphics. The rear bumper has been upgraded, and new wheel options in 19 or 21 inches are now available. Inside, the infotainment screen has been expanded from 12.0 to 12.3 inches and is accompanied by a new rectangular housing for the gauge cluster, along with a redesigned steering wheel.
The EV6 is offered in four trims: Light, Wind, GT-Line, and GT. It continues to provide RWD or AWD options, with the Light model's battery capacity increased from 58.0 to 63.0 kWh. Other models now feature an 84.0 kWh battery, aiming for a 319-mile range—an increase of nine miles. The GT trim now delivers up to 641 hp and includes a Virtual Gear Shift mode.
Enhancements include improved steering, power adjustments, added sound insulation, and a reinforced frame, ensuring the EV6 meets stringent safety standards. The model supports upgraded digital services, allowing for personal customization and smart key options. Driver-assistance technologies are also improved.
Production of the EV6, except for the GT, will be in Georgia, with sales expected to begin in early 2025. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
