Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (RB) has confirmed that 20-year-old Isack Hadjar will race alongside Yuki Tsunoda for the 2025 F1 season. Hadjar steps in as Sergio Perez exits and Liam Lawson moves to Red Bull's senior team.

Rising Through the Ranks

Hadjar, who has both French and Algerian nationality, will be the 18th graduate from the Red Bull Junior Programme to reach F1 since 2006. He joined the program in 2022 and made his F1 Free Practice debut with AlphaTauri at the 2023 Mexico GP. In 2024, Hadjar secured second place in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, achieving four wins and eight podiums. He finished 14th in his debut F2 season in 2023 and ranked fourth in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship.
