Crafting Dreams: A Bespoke Experience with Bentley's Mulliner

We've all been there—caught up in a daydream about cars during those dull hours at work. But for the true car enthusiast, customization goes beyond online simulations; it’s a personal collaboration. Bentley showcased this by inviting us to explore bespoke customization with their Mulliner team.

A Canvas of Possibilities

Instead of meeting at Bentley's headquarters in Crewe, UK, we were welcomed at home with an array of vibrant colors, sleek veneers, and luxurious leather swatches. Bentley offers a staggering range of customization options: 101 standard exterior shades that can be expanded with historical and bespoke colors, a palette for leather, stitching, and piping, and veneers tailored to meet any taste or shade you can imagine. Even before Mulliner’s finishing touches, the configurations seem limitless.

Mulliner Expertise

Mulliner takes Bentley to a new level of individuality. Imagine extravagant details like a custom 278,566-stitch pattern—it's possible as long as it passes safety tests. Experts like Georgia Gough, a bespoke consultant skilled in textiles, meticulously guide clients through the process using advanced customization tools.

Building Our Dream

We began our personalization journey with a 2025 Bentley Continental GT Speed. Tanzanite Purple quickly became a favorite for the exterior, paired with black accents. However, an all-purple interior seemed too much.

Enter Pink Amethyst—its beautiful blush harmonized perfectly with the black details. Open-Pore Olive Ash Veneer caught our eye for the wood finishes, while the interior adopted a beachy, sandy aesthetic with Camel primary leather, accented by Beluga black and Orchid pink.

Our exhaustive two-hour session merely skimmed the surface of the available options—from headrest logos to thread colors. The complexity is akin to creating an intricate video game character.
