BMW has taken the design and performance of its iX electric SUV to the next level for 2026. With the addition of the xDrive45 model, along with updates to the xDrive60 and M70 xDrive variants, the new iX promises style and performance enhancements. It’s expected to hit the market in the second quarter of this year.

New Trim Levels and Powertrain Highlights

BMW is broadening the iX range with three powertrains:

- xDrive60:
- 536 hp
- Estimated range: 340 miles
- M70 xDrive:
- 650 hp
- Estimated range: 302 miles

Production is set to begin in March, with deliveries starting early in the second quarter.

- An updated kidney grille with optional surround lighting
- Diagonal elements in the headlights
- Enhanced front and rear aprons with more paintwork

The xDrive45 features unique fascia grooves, while the M Sport Professional Package offers dark trims and 21-inch wheels.
